Four conferences were given on biopreservation, chilling and superchilling and Norvegian trends in seafood processing at the 47th WEFTA meeting and the 3rd international symposium on fermented meat.
The fourth six months meeting of SAFEFISHDISH was hosted by NOFIMA in Stavenger, Norway, from 18 to 19 September 2017. Eleven researchers from eight research institutes, university and industry attended this meeting.
The SAFEFISHDISH project was presented at the COFASP meeting in Kiel (Germany) the 7th of December 2016. A poster was also presented.

The third six months meeting of SAFEFISHDISH was hosted by CITPPM in Paris, France, from 17 to 18 January 2017. Eleven researchers from eight research institutes, university and industry attended this meeting.

A first publication on the optimisation of growth and bacteriocin production of a protective lactic acid bacteria was published in the international journal Frontiers in Marine Science.
